Mildred M. Carron, 85, of Cayuga, passed away at 2:35 a.m. EDT Monday, July 20, 2015 at her residence.

She was born December 21, 1929 in Fountain County, Indiana the daughter of the late Francis McKinney Dodd and Dewey H. Jenks.

Survivors include two sons, Roger Dale(Christine)Carron of East Aurora, New York and Nick(Debbie)Carron of Cayuga, Indiana; eight grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one sister, Dorothy Kenner of Union City, Ohio; one half sister; two half brothers and several nieces and nephews.

Mildred was preceded in death by her son, Michael W. Carron and sister, Helen Beedle.

Mildred retired from General Electric/Valmont in 1992 after 30 plus years. She was a member of the Cayuga Presbyterian Church and Cayuga American Legion Auxiliary Unit 263. She enjoyed reading, fishing and shopping for antiques.

Memorial services: 3 p.m. EDT Friday, July 24, 2015 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Kevin Wildman; Burial of cremains: Thomas Cemetery, Newport, Indiana. There will be no visitation.
