After a protracted battle with cancer Larry Paul Wiseman, of Clinton, died on July 27, 2015 at the Vermillion Convalescent Center at the age of 69. He leaves behind his daughters Shari, Amanda, and Kaci (Jordan) and his sons, Christopher and Trey.
Larry was born on October 10, 1945 in Fremont, OH, to father Roy and mother Maggie, who predeceased him. He grew up with family consisting of two sisters and 1 brother
Larry attended Woodville High School of which he was on the basketball team and after high school joined the Navy and served from 1963 to1967. He had stints in Vietnam on patrol with aircraft carriers and helicopter patrols at numerous ports all over the world. After retirement he liked to read, watch baseball and racing.
He is survived by his brother, Kenneth (Emma Lou) of Jackson, OH; sisters, Linda Snider (Jim) of Clinton, IN, and Betty Taschler (Paul) of Findlay, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews
Visitation will be 4-8 on July 29th at Frist Funeral Home Clinton, IN. Also, visitation will be 4-8 on Friday in Woodville, OH with Marsh Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 am at the Marsh Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to services. Military honors will be held at Westwood Cemetery. The family would especially like to thank the nurses and caretakers of Vermilion Convalescent, for there excellent work and loving care, and Frist Funeral Home, for making the arrangements.
