Darrell “Red” Divine, 86, of Hillsdale, died at 11:30 PM September 18, 2017 in his residence.  He was born March 23, 1931 in Hornet, MO to Fred Divine and Maude Chaney Divine.
He was a US Army Veteran in the Korean War and retired from the Newport Ammunition plant, where he had worked as a guard and a fireman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Cecil, Fred, Barney, and Eldon; five sisters, Frieda, Loraine, Edna, Venna, and Sadie Ethel; and one son, Farrell Divine.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Maxfield Divine of Hillsdale, whom he married January 30, 1971 in Montezuma; four daughters, Melladean and Doug Hansen of Joplin, MO, Melissa Montgomery of Phoenix, AZ, Penny and George Peterman of Clinton, and Melinda and Joe White of Clinton; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
