Heath “Xander” Alexander Huffman, 36, of Nappanee and formerly of Perrysville, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018 at his residence in Nappanee.
Heath was born May 1, 1982 in Danville, Illinois to Lou Ann Kemna Ward and Anthony (Pat) Huffman.
He married Amy Frantz on July 10, 2016 at Toscornia Park in St. Joseph, Michigan. She survives.
Other survivors include his parents; son, Colton Frantz-Huffman, at home; sister, Heather Huffman of Reno, Nevada; two nieces, and one great niece; various cousins, aunts, uncles and step siblings.
Heath was a graduate of North Vermillion High School in 2000 and enlisted in the United States Navy and became a corpsman. Heath left the service in 2005 and made his home in South Bend, Indiana. He enjoyed working with the Veterans in Big Spring, Texas before his illness.
