Terre Haute Board Of Works Approves Armored Police Vehicle And More

TERRE HAUTE, Ind – The Terre Haute Board of Public Works met Monday and approved several proposals.

The board approved over $4,600 in repair work for a cooling system for the city’s bus terminal waiting area.

The board also approved an insurance consulting agreement with ONI Risk Partners to serve as a third party oversight for the city’s health insurance plan with the Teamsters.

A $92,000 lease was approved for an armored personnel carrier, for the Terre Haute Police Department.

That lease will be reimbursed through a federal grant that pays up to $100,000.
