Phyllis touched all people that came to know her, and spread her warm, loving energy wherever she went. She did not know a stranger. She loved the sunshine and had a green thumb like no other. She would cook amazing meals that would feed an army, even on a normal day “just in case” someone would stop by, they would be well fed. She would love a good read to help her relax. She loved taking car rides with her husband to grab a fountain Pepsi (with extra ice) and to go wherever the roads took them that day. but most importantly, her joy primarily came from being with her grand & great-grandchildren, which is why we call her Nanny. She will be greatly missed by many, but will remain in our hearts forever.
“You are a child of God, you are wonderfully made, dearly loved and precious in his sight.” –Psalm 139
