Four Injured in Vermillion County Crash

Vermillion County, In. – A crash between a car and semi truck sent four people to the hospital late Friday night.

The accident happened at the intersection of SR 63 and CR 1650N in Vermillion County. Police said the driver of the car, 20-year old Nathan Harper, signaled to turn into a gas station when he abruptly turned the opposite direction into the path of a semi.

The semi hit Harper’s car on the passenger side. He and a front-seat passenger sustained life-threatening injuries. Two others were taken to area hospitals with less serious injuries.

No charges have been filed; no updates on their conditions were made available.
