Boone County, In. – A man who is in jail and accused of killing his wife still managed to win a local primary election in Indiana last week. Andrew Wilhoite, who’s facing a murder charge, will now be on the ballot in November for one of three Republican seats on the local township board. According to Indiana state requirements, he can still be eligible to fill the seat unless he pleads guilty or is convicted. Wilhoite goes on trial in August.
