SULLIVAN COUNTY — Sullivan County officials will test outdoor sirens today.

A post from Sheriff James Bobbitt says:

As part of Severe Weather Awareness Week, the State of Indiana will conduct a statewide severe weather drill on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 10:15 AM.

At that time, Sullivan County officials will test their outdoor warning sirens.
In the event of an actual weather emergency, the outdoor sirens are designed to alert residents to move indoors, and tune in for further information.
