Much of the information shared by county leaders at the Clay County Chamber of Commerce meeting on Tuesday at the YMCA was not new but it was an update with a positive outlook for county residents.

County Commissioners Paul Sinders and Marty Heffner and County Council President Larry Moss spoke for about 30 minutes.

Mr. Moss gave an optimistic view of the future.

While inflation fuels increases in the interest rate, inflation won’t always be a problem, he said.

Larry Moss also summarized the duties of government, which, he says, is Constitutional and the belief of most Americans.
