Terre Haute- Linda Lou Whalen, 81, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday, May 20 at the Commons of Honey Creek in Terre Haute. She was a homemaker. She was born June 2, 1941 in Mecca, Indiana to the late Claude Sowers and May Davis Sowers.

Her husband, Dewey Whalen preceded her in death October 31, 2022. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Earl, Junior and Larry Sowers and one sister, Margaret Presley. She was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church in Tangier.
