Ader/4H Golf Scramble

1st Annual Ader/4-H Golf Scramble

The 1st Annual Ader/4-H Golf Scramble will be held Friday, September 7 at the Parke County Golf Club. Proceeds from the Golf Scramble will support the creation of the Alan Ader Family Tops in 4-H Leadership Award in honor of Alan Ader and his family’s dedication to the Parke County 4-H Program. This fund will generate a cash award annually to a deserving 10yr 4-H member who exhibits exceptional leadership qualities. All proceeds will be managed within the Parke County Community Foundation. PCCF will be providing a $2500 match for donations . The first award will be presented during Annual 10 Year Member Recognition during the Parke County Fair.

The event will use a scramble format and is open to the public. There is a registration fee that includes 18 holes of golf, green fees, golf cart, lunch and an afternoon of fun celebrating the Ader Family and Parke County 4-H Program. Hole sponsorships are available.

Not a golfer, join us just for lunch from 11am – 12pm. There will also be a Golf Ball Drop prior to start. You can purchase golf balls for a chance to win. Alan will drop them from REMC bucket truck onto the putting green. First one in or closest to the pin will win half the pot.

Team registrations and/or lunch reservations for the Golf Scramble are due by Tuesday, August 28. Check-in and lunch September 7 will begin at 11 a.m. at the Parke County Fairgrounds Commercial Building, located adjacent to the Parke County Golf Club. The Scramble itself begins with a shotgun start at noon. The rain date is September 14. Online registration and/or sponsorship is available at parkecountyfairgrounds.com.
