St. Benedict Parish Community Festival

Friday, July 12th and Saturday, July 13th, St. Benedict Parish will hold its 23rd annual Community Festival at 9th and Ohio Streets in Downtown Terre Haute. Both days, the Community Festival will be open from 5:00 p.m. until Midnight.

Admission each night is $5 for adults, children 13 & under are free!

Activities during the festival include: LIVE musical entertainment, church tours, family games, poker, food booths, a beer garden including a specialized St. Benedict Brew, a handmade quilt raffle, 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.

The church is also giving away $15,500 in prize money to lucky ticket holders at the festival! Parishioners are selling tickets and you can buy tickets at the festival. Each ticket is $50. New this year, there will be two prize drawings Friday night. ($1,000 and $500) Then, on Saturday night, three prizes will be awarded: Grand Prize – $10,000, 2nd Place – $2,500 & 3rd Place – $1,500

The festival has a great LIVE musical entertainment line-up this year! Friday night, the festival welcomes Tom Kelly, Crowe Committee and Mullet Over! All will feature rock and roll and call the Wabash Valley home! As for Saturday, the festival is going country! LIVE entertainment includes: Whiskey Wolves of the West, The Piedmont Boys and Kris Anderson.

The Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos and Newlin Law Firm is also offering those attending the festival FREE cab rides home. This service will be available both nights from 8:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. The pick-up location for the cab rides will be on the corner of 9th and Ohio Streets. For a FREE ride, call 1st Choice Cab at (812) 251-TAXI (8294) and tell them the law firm is picking up the tab as part of their safe and sober program.
