TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A Terre Haute couple are facing multiple charges for allegedly engaging sex acts and smoking drugs with a juvenile.

Vigo County Sheriff’s Investigators say that the child told a friend about sitting on a bed with 57 year old David Day and 53 year old Barbara Day, watching the couple smoke drugs and then watching the couple engaged in sex acts with each other. The couple then engaged in acts with the child.

Police interviewed the couple, who reported admitted to smoking marijuana and methamphetamine. Both denied the allegations made by the minor.

 

David Day faces preliminary charges of sexual gratification and misconduct with a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and possession of paraphernalia.

Barbra Day faces preliminary charges of incest, sexual gratification and misconduct with a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of paraphernalia.

Both Days made initial court appearances Thursday and will return to court next week for the filing of formal charges.

They are held in the Vigo County Jail with no bond set.
