Terre Haute Man Arrested After Police Chase

TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Around 9:30 p.m. Friday night, an Indiana State Trooper saw a car speeding north bound on 9th Street and run a stop sign.

The driver who was later identified as 19 year old Bryson Bones of Terre Haute refused to stop and led police of a chase through town.

About 20 miles later Bones’ vehicle quit and stopped at Maple and 7th Street.

Bones refused to get out of his vehicle.

A Vigo County Sheriff’s Deputy used his taser to persuade Bones to be more cooperative.

Bones was checked out by Terre Haute Fire Department Medics and was taken to Union Hospital for further treatment.

Bones was then arrested and taken to jail on the following charges:

 

Resisting Law Enforcement in Vehicle, Level 6 Felony

Resisting Law Enforcement, A Misdemeanor

Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, Level 6 Felony

Driving While Suspended, A Misdemeanor

 

He is scheduled to appear in court Monday (6/17/19).
