TERRE HAUTE, Ind —The Terre Haute City Council meets tonight and Dr. Rob Haworth, superintendent of Vigo County School Corporation, plans to attend and address the council.

Haworth will give a presentation on the proposed Vigo County School Corporation operational referendum that will help fund school safety, student health and wellness, transportation, and teacher compensation.

Haworth said “I hope to continue a dialogue with our local leaders about how we can work together to meet the needs of our community.”

The superintendent is seeking support from the council on the referendum.

The City Council will meet in the City Hall Court Room tonight at 6:00.p.m.
