EDGAR COUNTY, Ind -Two people were sent to the hospital Thursday afternoon after an accident.

Illinois State Police say that just before 5:00 p.m. a minivan driven by 30-year-old Shawna N. Campbell, of Marshall, Illinois, was southbound on Illinois 49 when it went off the road rolled over and landed in a ditch.

Campbell and a 14-year-old passenger were both taken by helicopter to an area hospital.

Campbell was cited for driving an uninsured vehicle.
