ROCKVILLE-Nancy Crowder, 87, of Rockville, Indiana went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Union Hospital Clinton.

She was the Founder and retired co-owner of Crowder Lawn and Garden in Rockville.

She was born June 8, 1936, in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Elmer Coons and Louise Killion Coons.

Her husband of 68 years, Gerald M. Crowder whom she married December 18, 1954, in Terre Haute preceded her in death April 28, 2022. Survivors include four sons, Gary Crowder, Mark (Lori) Crowder, Mike (Karin) Crowder, and Sam (Harmony) Crowder; daughter-in-law, Shirley Crowder; one brother, Carl (Marty) Coons; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Kevin Crowder, and Randy Crowder.

She was a 1954 graduate of Wiley High School. She was a member of the Bridgeton Baptist Church, enjoyed going on cruises, collecting dolls and clowns.

Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, June 17, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville, with Pastor Jack E. Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville. Visitation is from 12 noon until 2:00 pm Saturday at Gooch Funeral Home.
