BLOOMFIELD- Alma Jean Hill, 89, of Bloomfield, Indiana passed away Sunday, August 20 at her residence. She was a homemaker.

She was born November 26 ,1933 in West Union, Indiana to the late Orville Norman and Geneva Adams Norman.

Her husband of 42 years, Calvin Ernest whom she married January 7, 1951 in Rockville preceded her in death on December 22, 1995. She is survived by one son, Allen W. (Debra) Hill of Rockville; two daughters, Sharon Kay Hunt of Bloomfield and Carolyn Meyer of Rockville; 12 grandchildren, 22 great- grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Ernest Lee Hill and six siblings

She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crafts and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 23 at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville with Pastor Keith B. McIntyre officiating. Burial will follow at West Union Cemetery. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Gooch Funeral Home.
