ROSEDALE- Robert M. Carrithers, 67, of Rosedale passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023, at his residence.

He was a Warehouse operator for Great Dane in Terre Haute with 23 ½ years of service and a farmer for 20 years.

He was born December 26, 1955, in Clinton, Indiana to the William Carrithers and Pauline Sills Carrithers.

He is survived by this wife Karen Yeargin Carrithers. Also surviving his mother of Terre Haute; two daughters, K. Michelle (Michael) Gallagher of Rosedale, Sherri Elizabeth (Larry Jenkins, Jr.) Sauer- Jenkins of Rosedale; four siblings, Kathy Hardesty of Terre Haute, Jerry Carrithers of Rosedale, Debbie Yeargin of Rosedale, and Doug Carrithers of Fontanet; six grandchildren, Rowan, Hunter, Rylann, Seth, Regann and Braylyn; several nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of Terre Haute North High school and a member of the Sons of American Legion Tony Kashon Post 290 in Rosedale. He was a hard worker. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting.

Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 5 at Cottrell- Gooch Funeral Home, 281 N Main Street Rosedale, with Pastor Keith B. McIntyre officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home.
